Ford - KCAP
Ford’s Kansas City Assembly Plant (KCAP) is one of the largest manufacturing facilities in the company’s network, employing nearly 9,500 people and producing more than 433,000 F-150 trucks each year. Yet despite its size and importance, the plant had limited recognition in the Kansas City community, where it was often known simply as “Claycomo.”
The opportunity was to elevate KCAP’s identity and visibility with employees, Ford leadership, plant visitors and the broader local community.
Working with Ford, we developed a cohesive brand presence for the facility through environmental graphics, branding and identity systems, and custom merchandise. From large-scale graphics throughout the plant to branded materials that employees could wear and use with pride, the work helped reinforce KCAP’s importance within the Ford network while giving the plant a stronger, more recognizable presence both internally and within the Kansas City community.
