Children’s Mercy - Bold Science.

To help reinforce Children’s Mercy as a leader in pediatric research, DMH developed a :30 broadcast spot built around the hospital’s Bold Science platform. The film centers on a powerful visual moment: looking directly into a child’s eyes, drawing viewers into the emotion families experience when searching for answers. As the camera slowly pulls back to reveal the full face and a hopeful smile, the message shifts from uncertainty to possibility.

The spot was designed to create a stopping image that captures attention and invites viewers to engage with the message. By pairing an intimate visual approach with Children’s Mercy’s leadership in genomic medicine and pediatric innovation, the work reinforces the hospital’s role in delivering answers, hope and life-changing care for families.

The final spot helped elevate awareness around Children’s Mercy’s research impact while strengthening the Bold Science platform in market, positioning the hospital as a world-class pediatric research institution dedicated to transforming the future of children’s health.
