For this playlist I really wanted to capture the idea of lo-fi and the popularity it has gained in the last ten years. I had never attempted to illustrate in this style before. It requires details but simplicity at the same time. Plus the consideration of lights and shadows.

I pulled from so many different pieces of pop culture and sources of inspiration, this scene I was illustrating had to seem real, so it needed real references. This has so many hidden eggs in it, I hope one day someone can spot them all. Or a majority of them. If you spend about five minutes with it you will see

Chromadepth

This show poster was specifically unique. The show involved a lot of visuals and Chroma-depth glasses, which basically take the spectrum of colors and enhance them through the lenses. Kind of like 3D glasses, but more rainbow. I wanted the poster to reflect this, and I also wanted someone looking at the poster with glasses on to get the vibe of the show, even if they missed it. For the final piece I did screen print an 18x24 poster on iridescent paper, so that all the elements of the poster were reflective shimmered.
